Job Role:

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness and presentation in two short-stay holiday houses located in Merton, VIC.

These small houses have one hosting 4 guests and the other hosting 3 guests. Each house has its own bathroom and kitchenette with outdoor setting.

As a part-time cleaner, you will work closely with our team of over 50 cleaners across Australia. You must live locally near Merton, VIC and be available for 2-4 cleans a week on a recurring basis.

  • Clean all surfaces, floor, kitchen, and bathroom
  • Wash and replace linen and towels
  • Make beds and present house to a premium standard
  • Monitor usage and replace consumables (e.g. firewood, soap, shampoo, salt / pepper, survival box, BBQ gas tanks)
  • Tidy outdoor area including cleaning picnic table and re-setting fire pit
  • Close windows, shut off heater, gas, and water and lock the house
  • Clean deck and hot tub if applicable
  • Use a phone app to provide photos and completed checklist after each clean
Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning tasks: Clean all surfaces, floors, kitchens, and bathrooms.

Linens and laundry: Wash and replace linen and towels.

House preparation: Make beds and present house to a premium standard.

Inventory management: Monitor usage and replace consumables.

Outdoor maintenance: Tidy outdoor area, including cleaning picnic tables and re-setting fire pits.

Security and safety: Close windows, shut off heaters, gas, and water, and lock the house.

Additional tasks: Clean decks and hot tubs if applicable and use a phone app to provide photos and completed checklists after each clean.
