Home Maintenance and Garden Care Specialist

This role involves providing home maintenance and garden care services to clients in their homes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with tasks such as cleaning gutters, windows, and fans, replacing light bulbs, installing batteries, and performing minor home repairs
  • Providing gardening services including pruning, lawn mowing, and weeding
  • Ensuring the safety and accessibility of client homes by installing grab rails, key safes, and handheld shower heads

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in Aged Care or Disability Home & Garden Maintenance (desirable)
  • Your own reliable smartphone to access your work schedule
  • Your own gardening and maintenance equipment and vehicle
  • A UTE/Trailer to carry the tools
  • Ability to travel to and from client homes throughout the day
  • Willingness to obtain an NDIS Workers Check, National Police Check, and a Working With Children Check
  • Passion and understanding for providing support to the elderly and people with a disability
