As a seasoned professional, we are seeking an accomplished Technical Director to lead our high-voltage Transmission projects.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil, electrical, and structural engineering, with a strong focus on Line Design Principles and Australian Standards. They will be responsible for providing technical leadership and oversight for project teams, ensuring high-quality project delivery, and developing project scopes, estimates, and schedules.

We require someone with 15+ years of experience working on Transmission and Substation projects, holding a relevant engineering degree with Chartered status or equivalent accreditation. Previous experience in the Australian power industry is essential, as well as significant consulting experience on large-scale and complex projects.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated technical, commercial, and delivery acumen, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results within tight timelines. They will also possess excellent communication and team management skills, with the ability to guide material selection and safety reviews during design and constructability phases.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must:
