Retail Buyer Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Retail Buyer Assistant to support our purchasing department in the selection and procurement of products. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have an analytical mind.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintaining positive vendor relationships
  • Preparing retail and pricing strategies
  • Placing and tracking purchase orders
  • Managing inventory levels
  • Researching new suppliers and making recommendations

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field
  • Previous experience in the merchandising or retail industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
