Job Overview

The position of Field Quality Assurance Specialist involves ensuring that all testing services and operations are performed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure that all activities are well-planned, executed, and documented.

The ideal candidate will have a background in quality assurance, risk management, and team leadership, with experience in explosive handling, gun loading, arming, and operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Focal Point: Acts as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Safety Management: Develops and implements safety procedures to minimize risks during testing services and operations.
  • Quality Control: Conducts regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and identifies areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Supervises and mentors team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Documentation: Maintains accurate and detailed records of all testing services and operations, including safety reports, quality control documentation, and client feedback.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Engineering or relevant studies desirable
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Expert in explosives handling, gun loading, arming, and operation
  • Competent in TCP job planning and design
  • Knowledge in basic hydrostatic and pressure calculations
  • Understanding of explosives initiation and explosive train theories
  • Competent in Drill stem testing, Reservoir Sampling Techniques, TCP Expert Solutions
  • Ability to maintain high quality of service delivery at the wellsite, in terms of safety, quality and efficiency of operation
  • Ability to run required services, supervise operations and managing people, interact with clients and other related parties
  • Organisation and project management
  • Experts in SPAN, Field Deployment Platform and WorkRight
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills and ability to learn new software
