About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join our team at Macquarie, a global financial services group operating in 34 markets. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic change in building the new strata operational platform.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will have a passion for engineering and technology, with a strong understanding of how to build performant, resilient, decoupled software systems with high standards on code maintainability. You will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-based applications using Java, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based applications using Java, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our business.
  • Collaborate with our teams of business representatives and engineers to chart a path through short-term deliveries towards aspirational end-state solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-performing, critical code components, with a focus on code maintainability and scalability.
  • Improve developer experience within teams, with a strong knowledge of Containerisation and CI/CD.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions that meet the needs of our business.
