The Role

As an Educational Psychologist, you will apply your expertise in educational psychology using a scientist-practitioner approach. You will provide direct psychological services to students, offering evidence-based assessments and interventions in areas such as mental health, behaviour, learning, disability, and critical incident management.

Senior psychologists will take on additional leadership responsibilities, contributing to the development and evaluation of educational practices and regional priorities. They will work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and other agencies to enhance student outcomes through the development and implementation of student support services and programs.

Eligibility
  • hold or be eligible for provisional or general registration with the relevant professional body;
  • be a citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment;
  • obtain a valid Working With Children Check before starting; and
  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting.
