About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Lead Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Goodstart Semaphore South. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to lead a team of dedicated professionals in providing high-quality early learning programs for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per annum + superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

As a Lead Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for leading a team of educators in delivering engaging and play-based learning experiences that cater to the individual needs and interests of children. You will work closely with the Centre Manager to develop and implement educational programs, observe and assess children's progress, and contribute to the overall well-being and safety of the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of educators in delivering high-quality early learning programs
  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children aged 6 weeks to 6 years
  • Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and safety of the children in your care
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to Goodstart's health and safety policies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Current SA Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
  • South Australia – Hold active registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA) (applicants working towards their Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) may be able to apply for Special Authority to Teach if certain conditions met)
