Synaco Global Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician Specialist to join their team at a leading Bus Manufacturer in Bundoora. As an Automotive Technician Specialist, you will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly tasks, utilizing your in-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, general mechanical skills, and proficiency with power tools.

Some of the key responsibilities for this position may include:

  • Performing mechanical assembly tasks according to established guidelines and specifications.
  • Utilizing your knowledge of mechanical systems to ensure accurate and efficient assembly of buses.
  • Demonstrating general mechanical skills to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise.
  • Operating power tools, including hand tools and pneumatic tools, to complete assembly tasks effectively.
  • Working collaboratively with the team to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements for the role:

  • Sound knowledge and experience of mechanical assembly techniques and processes of both Deisel and Unleaded engines.
  • Strong experience and expertise in automotive mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in using power tools, including hand tools and pneumatic tools.
  • A solid work history, demonstrating your experience and reliability.
  • Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen and Criminal Check.
  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude towards work and a willingness to contribute to a team environment.
