About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreational Activities Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our community programs team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall well-being among our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a range of recreational activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities, including arts and crafts, games, and outdoor programs.
  • Collaborate with our care team to identify residents' needs and preferences, and tailor activities to meet their individual requirements.
  • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and make adjustments as needed.
  • Work closely with our volunteers and community partners to enhance our programs and services.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or community setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, staff, and external partners.
