Administrative Support Officer - Farm Operations

We are seeking an organized and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative Support Officer for farm operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, providing administrative support to the farm management team. You will be responsible for various tasks including general reception duties, managing internal and external correspondence, and performing stock takes.

Job Description:

  • General reception duties include managing internal and external calls, collection, distribution, and dispatching of external and internal correspondence and courier deliveries.
  • Liaising with farm managers and accounts department regarding the collection of requisitions and entering data, ensuring invoices are processed, authorized, and paid in a timely manner.
  • Performing immigration checks on working holiday makers to ensure their rights to work in Australia.
  • Maintaining farm employee times and labour costs in the Kronos timekeeping system and performing weekly audits on labour accounts, leave taken, and times for accuracy of data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in a varied administration role.
  • Sound computer and literacy skills.
  • Experience with PAM, MEX, Chris21, or Kronos is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated high standard of accuracy and efficiency.
  • A strong team focus and personal work ethic.
