Healthcare Support Professional

This role provides general support in healthcare settings, encompassing patient care, security duties, and administrative tasks.
- Responsibilities:
- Portering patients, cleaning duties, and security tasks as required under the direction of clinical staff.
- Providing assistance in wards, ensuring a safe and patient-centered environment.
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care through effective communication and teamwork.
- Maintaining current NSW Security licence (Class 1A minimum) and Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) First Aid Certificate.
Requirements:
- Essential Skills:
- Knowledge of person-centered care principles and willingness to support.
- Experience working with diverse groups and excellent communication skills.
- Physical capacity to perform duties including lifting and transferring patients.
- Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and aggression management.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and willingness to work a 24/7 roster.
- Current unrestricted driver's licence and ability to drive/travel as required.
