About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional Experience Lead to support the execution and production of events in your city. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Sofar regional & local teams to ensure seamless event execution, providing exceptional experiences for audience, artists, hosts, crew, and AV team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a local leader to guarantee high-quality experiences and safety at every Sofar show, fostering a strong sense of community.
  • Act as a liaison to facilitate connections between Sofar & local communities, promoting mutual understanding and growth.
  • Main contact for general & day-of event operations, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient execution.
  • Manage day-of event supplies and local gear inventory, maintaining a well-organized and resourceful approach.
  • Conduct venue visits to scout and evaluate potential spaces for future events.
  • Develop and host local events, consistently bringing the team and community together, strengthening relationships and fostering a sense of belonging.
  • Scout, refer, and recommend artists, venues, crew, and community partners that align with Sofar's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and representation across the city.
  • Work shows regularly, dependent on market needs (up to 15 per month), ensuring a strong presence and visibility in the local music scene.
  • Presentation of recommendations for improvements on ways of working and supporting local musicians, showcasing expertise and dedication to the local market.
About You

We're looking for someone who is driven to support artists and bring people together, sharing our passion for live music and the local music community. If you have experience in producing live music events, customer service, or hospitality, and are passionate about building and supporting local community, we'd love to hear from you.
