About the Coal Quality Tester Role
As a Coal Quality Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring quality, efficiency, client satisfaction, and productivity.
Our team is seeking a highly skilled individual to join us at our mine site laboratory in the North Bowen Basin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting production and train samples, performing preparation and analytical tests, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Sample collection and preparation
- Conducting analytical tests
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Validating results and maintaining high-quality standards
- Optimising turnaround time for samples while achieving exceptional results
- Ensuring a high standard of housekeeping and presentation
Essential Qualifications and Skills
A strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
Attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
Good communication skills and reliability
Previous industry experience would be an advantage, but not required
A valid driver's license and ability to work 12-hour shifts are essential
