Job Description: As a senior biosecurity specialist, you will be responsible for delivering operational services that protect Queensland from the impacts of high-risk invasive species. This includes working effectively to prevent the establishment of invasive species and supporting stakeholders to manage them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver operational services that protect Queensland from high-risk invasive species
  • Contribute as a senior member of a high-performing team to prevent the establishment of invasive species
  • Support stakeholders to manage invasive species and mitigate their impacts on the state's economy and environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

A criminal history check is required for all positions within Biosecurity Queensland. Applications remain current for 12 months.
