Biosecurity Queensland monitors and regulates the application of agricultural and veterinary chemicals, ensuring they are used safely and in compliance with legislation.
With a commitment to developing capabilities and preparedness, we are at the forefront of protecting Queensland against biosecurity risks.Invasive Plants and Animals significantly affect the environment, agricultural production, infrastructure, human health and our way of life in general.
The IP&A Program directs, facilitates and delivers strategic and targeted action to reduce the impact of invasive species in Queensland.As a senior biosecurity officer, you will deliver operational services that protect Queensland from the impacts of high-risk invasive species.
