Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tow Truck Operator to join our team. As a Tow Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles, plant, and equipment while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will work closely with our heavy fleet operations team to ensure that all tasks are completed with adaptability and efficiency. This role requires adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and a strong commitment to safety while operating a 4T & 6T Truck.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily tasks with adaptability and efficiency
  • Expand expertise by working with heavy fleet operations
  • Follow Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) for loading, securing, transporting, and unloading
  • Purchase and operate own truck
  • Embrace continuous learning and training to enhance performance
  • Comply with state, territory, and national road laws, including heavy vehicle and fatigue regulations
  • Operate Tilt Tray trucks safely and effectively
What You Need To Succeed
  • HR / HC License
  • Must be based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs
  • Own ABN / ACN and Insurances
  • Previous truck driving experience
  • Strong knowledge of Melbourne and surrounding areas
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Motivated and ready to own and operate own business
  • Flexible availability, including after-hours
  • Commitment to safety, professionalism, and teamwork
