Safety and Environmental Advisor

Pact Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Environmental Advisor to join our Site Management Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for promoting and championing a safety-first culture across the site, providing expert advice and support to the Divisional and Site Management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and management of significant incidents, including early intervention, liaison with legal teams, and ensuring a positive resolution.
- Support the development and coordination of strategies and continuous improvements to the Group WHSE system.
- Monitor, interpret, and champion changes to the regulatory environment, including legislation, authority directions, regulations, and standards.
- Conduct system audits in line with the Group Audit Plan, to ensure consistent implementation and application of the Group system.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of WHS and Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice, Standards, and associated obligations.
- Strong skills in hazard identification, risk management, and incident investigation.
- Previous experience in developing, implementing, monitoring, and auditing Safety or Environmental Management Systems.
