The Australian Public Service Commission is seeking a highly skilled Officer Safety Technical Capability Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in enabling ASIS's Officer Safety operational work, including the delivery of technology and practical solutions on a tactical, strategic, and enterprise level.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to Officer Safety operational planning and deployments;
- Manage infrastructure projects for operational monitoring at remote sites;
- Manage installed and future Operations Centre infrastructure;
- Manage IT equipment and a variety of hardware and software assets globally;
- Work closely with international partners, vendors, and contractors to ensure OS systems are resilient, secure, and fit-for-purpose.
- Operational and Project Management expertise;
- Effective team engagement and resource management skills;
- Ability to work with limited supervision and track multiple operations and processes;
- Demonstrated technical aptitude in relevant disciplines.
- Excellent coordination and administration skills;
- Relevant technical experience in tracking and secure communications platforms;
- Relevant formal tertiary/postgraduate qualifications and/or industry certifications;
- Experience in IP networking, security, and system design;
- Commitment to undertake specialist equipment and deployment training as required;
- Experience with tactical communications systems and visualisation platforms.
Candidates must be Australian citizens. The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain the highest-level security clearance.
