Diesel Service Technician

This role is responsible for performing heavy-duty mechanical repair under general supervision. As a heavy duty mechanic, you will gain experience by working on items such as engine overhaul, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes, engine tune-up, and general maintenance with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Perform and/or assist in the performance of general mechanical duties.
- Gain experience by working on various mechanical components.
- Work on major components with close supervision.
- Perform troubleshooting on minor problems.
- Attend training sessions and meetings.
- Maintain a neat and orderly working area and proper handling of company tools.
- Advise the supervisor if additional repair work is necessary.
- Follow safe work practices and procedures, use safety equipment when required, respond to safety suggestions, and seek assistance when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- CDL preferred.
- Minimum three years hands-on experience or graduate of vocational courses.
- A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.
