Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department team at Grampians Health in Horsham. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized nursing care to patients, assessing their needs and developing effective care plans
- Work effectively in a fast-paced emergency department environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple patients simultaneously
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance
- Current Division 1 registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Clinical skills and experience relevant to emergency nursing
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in the use of information technology
- Experience working in triage or emergency nursing
- Postgraduate qualifications in a related discipline
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or willingness to obtain
