We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team at Just Automotive Recruitment.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to take on a challenging role as a Truck Service Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on small to large trucks, as well as providing on-site and breakdown assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on small to large trucks
  • Provide on-site and breakdown assistance
  • Diagnose problems from electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
  • Perform mechanical and general reconditioning of trucks
  • Repair or replace heavy-duty truck brake bearings and air systems
  • Remove and fit axles and suspension-type bushes
  • Perform routine duties in accordance with established and documented processes as required
  • Diagnose faults in systems and rectify
  • Plan work so that it is done efficiently and in accordance with industry standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A trade certificate in a relevant field
  • Drivers' licenses equivalent to the role
