
Perinatal Care Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Midwife to provide high-quality midwifery care to women and infants.
- Provide comprehensive midwifery care to women and infants, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Offer breastfeeding support and parent education to new mothers and families
- Mentor and support less experienced midwives, student nurses, and Allied Health Professionals in the provision of midwifery care
- Maintain accurate documentation and care plans for all clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the best possible care
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Be an AHPRA-registered Midwife with current registration and a valid practicing certificate
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with women, infants, and other healthcare professionals
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively
- Have knowledge of midwifery practices, policies, and procedures, as well as relevant legislation and standards
