Warehouse Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our South Australian operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Distribution and Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, Planning, and People Leadership.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading safe and efficient warehouse operations in accordance with health and safety practices and company standards. This includes driving proactive planning, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include managing inventory to maximise warehouse capacity and utilisation, maintaining high service levels, and responding promptly to customer issues to minimise downtime. Additionally, the Warehouse Manager will control costs with a focus on labour efficiency and workforce productivity, support budgeting processes, and contribute to effective cost control.

The role also involves identifying opportunities to grow the business and drive financial performance, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting team development, performance, and succession planning.

To be successful in this position, you will require 5+ years of proven experience in Warehouse and Distribution Management, exceptional knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations, and SAP, WMS & TMS knowledge is highly regarded. You will also need a passion for bringing out the best in team members and providing pathways for growth, as well as a high level of organisational and time management skills demonstrating an ability to meet timelines.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Warehouse and Distribution Management
  • Exceptional knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations
  • SAP, WMS & TMS knowledge highly regarded
  • Passion for bringing out the best in team members and providing pathways for growth
  • High level of organisational and time management skills
