English Learning Lead Position

The English Learning Lead position is a pivotal role that demands a forward-thinking and collaborative leader who can steer the curriculum towards excellence.

We are seeking an individual with a strong educational background, coupled with Stage 6 experience or demonstrated equivalent, to drive innovation and improvement in teaching practices.

  • In this capacity, you will lead Professional Learning Teams, focusing on elevating teacher practice and student learning outcomes.
  • You will collaborate closely with Leaders Of Pedagogy and Literacy Coach to implement evidence-based approaches.
  • This role requires effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously while maintaining open collaboration within teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Promote Catholic identity and mission across the curriculum, ensuring alignment with Diocesan guidelines.
  2. Drive improvement through leadership of Professional Learning Teams.
  3. Collaborate with Leadership and Faculty to develop curriculum implementation strategies.
  4. Provide guidance on goal setting and evaluation for team members.
  5. Ensure the effective use of technology in content delivery and pedagogy.
  6. Facilitate innovative approaches to contemporary pedagogy.
  7. Monitor and evaluate teaching strategies to enhance student achievement.
  8. Leverage instructional coaching methods to set expectations for high-impact practices.
  9. Evaluate and implement NESA and Diocesan curriculum requirements.
  10. Develop and modify programs based on evidence.
  11. Maintain safe and well-resourced learning environments.
  12. Manage budget and record-keeping responsibilities.
  13. Enforce Workplace Health and Safety standards.
