The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Diploma-qualified Lead Educator looking to join a team of exceptional, qualified Early Childhood professionals? Do you want to be valued and appreciated for your hard work?

Nurture One George Street Children's Centre is offering an exciting Lead Educator role within our fun-loving, supportive team. You will be a passionate, dedicated professional committed to creating an outstanding learning environment for children.

This is a full-time role, working 38 hours per week, on a contract ending February 2026 with the possibility of extension.

About Us

Our centre features delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, equipped rooms with the latest technology and learning resources, and a variety of activities. We cater for up to 75 children, operating from 6.30am to 6.30pm.

About You

  • You will hold an ACECQA-approved Diploma Qualification in Children's Services.
  • You have an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • You have proven experience as an Educator within an early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years).
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You hold a current Working with Children Check.
  • You have a First Aid certificate.
