About the Role
As an Arboricultural Maintenance Specialist in the Ipswich City Council's Arboricultural Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the city's urban forest. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing arboricultural maintenance activities to ensure the health and safety of the community
- Pruning and maintaining trees to promote their growth and prevent damage
- Operating machinery, including woodchippers, elevated platforms, and chainsaws, to perform tree care tasks
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current HR Licence
- A Chainsaw Operator's ticket
- A passion for safe work practices and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
- Experience in tree maintenance and a strong understanding of arboricultural principles
