Store Leadership Opportunity

At our retail store, we strive to inspire and empower customers to achieve their fitness goals. We believe that people desire a healthy lifestyle and aim to provide personalized service and correctly fitted footwear.

Our team is dedicated to ensuring customers have the right shoes for any activity. Our service extends beyond the store walls to support local communities through partnerships with health professionals, schools, and sporting clubs.

We are seeking a full-time Store Leader to oversee our team and drive high-performing initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to progress in their retail career and work closely with the Area Manager.

The role includes involvement in local community activations, partnering with sporting events, and managing relationships with healthcare professionals. This is a unique retail opportunity with significant work outside the store to drive brand growth.

  • Maintaining optimal store performance across sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
  • Driving team performance to achieve KPIs & added value targets across stores.
  • Monitoring store sales to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets - acknowledging outstanding results and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Effectively managing wage costs to weekly wage targets, company rostering standards, and adhering to operational guidelines.
  • Coaching and mentoring the team to maintain high morale and develop their skills by implementing training and succession plans.
  • Ensuring efficient OH&S management and compliance with state and national legislation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or Senior Assistant Store Manager in a fast-paced environment.
  • A motivated and driven attitude.
  • A passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
  • Ability to think strategically to identify missed opportunities and drive sales and KPIs.
  • Sound operational and strategical skills with experience in stock control and visual merchandising.
  • Experience with effectively managing a roster and wage control.
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships with Support Office departments.
