Job Description:

As a seasoned procurement leader, you will drive workforce engagement, performance, and productivity within the procurement team. Your strategic vision will ensure seamless execution of the procurement value program.

With a focus on excellence, you will lead a small team of procurement professionals in delivering high standards of productivity and effectiveness.

The Senior Procurement Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring all procurement activities deliver value for money and support business continuity objectives.

  • Mentor procurement staff to promote a culture of improvement, accountability, and commercial focus
  • Negotiate agreements with suppliers to unlock new sources of value
  • Participate in business planning and influence sourcing strategies
  • Lead procurement initiatives to achieve defined outcomes
  • Manage full procurement lifecycle to optimise value and reduce risk
  • Develop policies and ensure adherence to legal and internal standards
  • Monitor and mitigate risks
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Law, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8-10 years' experience in procurement, including senior roles
  • Proven track record in leading procurement strategies within complex environments
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership
  • Ability to manage compliance, risk, and value-for-money outcomes
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to regional sites
