**About the Role**
Due to business growth, our client, a leading automotive dealership, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Advisor/Assistant Service Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor looking to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the Service Manager in the day-to-day operations of the service department
- Meet and greet clients, customers, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the relevant personnel
- Take service bookings and enquiries, ensuring accurate and timely communication with customers
- Estimate costs and time required for jobs, working closely with the Workshop Manager to ensure efficient workflow
- Liaise with the Workshop Manager to ensure all work is completed within the allocated timeframe
- Gain authorization for additional work, promoting the dealership and the Toyota brand
- Contribute to bringing new business into the service department, fostering strong relationships with customers
**Requirements**
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor is essential, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
- Competent use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a pleasant and professional phone manner
- Sound knowledge of automotive mechanics and a customer-focused approach
