About the RoleThis full-time position involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide medical imaging services using Radiography equipment. The successful candidate will contribute to the provision of standard diagnostic radiographic examinations, with progressing professional independence.
The role requires minimal professional direction and the incumbent is expected to provide professional direction to other radiographers, newly graduated radiographers, undergraduate students on clinical placement, and work experience students.
The incumbent also contributes to approved research and departmental quality assurance programs under professional direction.

To be successful in this role, you must have an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles a statement of accreditation in Diagnostic Radiography from the Australian Institute of Radiography, or its recognised equivalent (up to July 2012) and then registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (post July 2012). Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).
You must also be licensed or eligible to apply for Licence to operate radiation apparatus pursuant to Section 24 of the Radiation Protection and Control Act, SA 2021 (Operation of all diagnostic X-ray apparatus for the purpose of human radiography).
