The company offers a wide range of services including engineering, surveying and geotechnical services to the building and land development industries.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their Projects team in Sydney CBD.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the mechanical services engineering design and documentation on a variety of projects, including office, retail, residential, public buildings and education.

Your role will include designing mechanical services systems, such as air conditioning, heating and ventilation systems, as well as other building services like electrical, hydraulic, fire protection and environmentally sustainable design.

You will also have the opportunity to work with clients, drafters, builders, architects and other authorities to deliver high-quality projects.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
  • Registered Building Practitioner in Victoria (Mechanical)
  • At least 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in Australia in building services consulting
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of building services engineering and building code requirements
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the work environment
