Cyber security is a rapidly evolving field, with organisations continually seeking skilled professionals to help protect their networks and systems. As a Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security posture of our organisation.
You will be responsible for conducting technical analysis of alerts and data from security products, including SIEMs, intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint security solutions, web proxies, and network security devices. This will involve identifying potential threats and advising on remediation activities to mitigate these risks.
In addition to your analytical skills, you will also need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and communicate complex security information. Previous experience with IT security tools and controls is highly desirable, including SIEM, EDR, VMS, IDS/IPS, anti-virus, WAF, vulnerability management, and cloud fundamentals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Minimum 2+ years' experience in security operations or an ICT technical team
- Technical understanding of contemporary ICT technologies achieved through real-world experience (experience in system administration, network administration, and/or software development all regarded highly)
- Solid analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passionate about growth and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
