Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Air Quality team in Sydney, dedicated to delivering sustainable solutions for renewable energy, transport, and water projects. Strong demand for our services has created a great opportunity for a Senior Air Quality Specialist to lead air quality assessments across all industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead air quality assessments for various projects, including heavy industry, ports, road, rail, energy, water, and mining;
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to meet client requirements, prepare technical reports, designs & specifications, client proposals, and presentations;
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS through business development, engagement throughout project delivery, and regular communication;
  • Conduct fieldworks, data processing, report writing, meteorological, and air dispersion modelling (using AERMOD and CALPUFF);
  • Provide technical reviews of models and reports prepared by junior staff in the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science;
  • 5-12 years of relevant post-graduate experience in Air Quality assessments, ideally in a consulting environment;
  • The ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team across the project lifecycle;
  • Strong client relationship and project management skills, along with experience in preparing winning proposals.
