Role Overview">

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dynamic educator to join our dedicated team at Glengarry, our unique residential campus in the picturesque Kangaroo Valley.

We are seeking a qualified Secondary Teacher to deliver engaging academic programs in their area of expertise (Mathematics, Science, English or a combination) and integrate experiential education and outdoor learning into their teaching practice.

The successful applicant will also participate fully in the residential and co-curricular life of the Glengarry campus, provide pastoral care and build strong relationships with students, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including educators, residential staff, and outdoor education leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, well-sequenced academic programs in your area of expertise (Mathematics, Science, English or a combination)
  • Integrate experiential education and outdoor learning into your teaching practice
  • Participate fully in the residential and co-curricular life of the Glengarry campus
  • Provide pastoral care and build strong, supportive relationships with students
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including educators, residential staff, and outdoor education leaders
Requirements

Qualified educator with NESA registration (or eligibility)

Teaching expertise in Maths, Science, English or a combination

Ability to engage and motivate teenage boys in both classroom and residential environments

Alignment with the College's Christian ethos and commitment to the holistic development of young men

High levels of adaptability, resilience and a sense of adventure

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset
