Aquatic Educator - Casual

Estimated salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum.

We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Aquatic Educator to join our team at Belgravia Leisure. As an Aquatic Educator, you will be responsible for delivering swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

About the Role

  • This is a casual position working mornings, evenings and weekends, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and promoting a safe and enjoyable experience for our members and patrons.
  • You will have a passion for swimming and water safety, and be committed to delivering high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of our diverse student base.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, using effective teaching methods and techniques to promote learning and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of lesson plans and programs that meet the needs of our students and align with our organisational goals.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address any issues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared objectives and support the overall success of the swim school.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Swimming Teaching or equivalent qualification.
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificate.
  • Blue Card: Working With Children Check (or equivalent).
  • National Police Check.
  • Current Swim Teacher qualifications, including Infant and Preschool Aquatics and Aquatics Access and Inclusion.
