Network Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

This senior-level position involves handling Level 3 escalations, organizing vulnerability and maintenance windows, and managing network and security performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting, and continuous improvement to optimize performance.

  • Install, configure, and upgrade hardware, systems, and software for networks.
  • Manage network and security performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting, and continuous improvement to optimize performance.
  • Identify, analyze, and manage risk at every aspect of work.
  • Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining, and monitoring access.
  • Undertake project design and architecture work, including high-level and detailed design work.
Key Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Coding Skills: Python scripting/coding (Intermediate) - primary importance.
  • DevOps tools Skills: BitBucket, Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub, Terraform, Vault.
  • Network Security: Operational expertise in the networking domain, showcasing the ability to tackle complex network challenges. Experience with F5 load balancer, GTM/LTM, Firewalls - Juniper SRX, Fortinet FortiGate, VMware (now Broadcom) NSX.
  • Data Management Skills: Data Collection, Schema Binding, Data Manipulation, and Analytical skills.
