Job Title: Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and support the ongoing development of a strong and transparent control environment.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting risk-based assurance activities to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of our controls, compliance, and operational processes.
  • This includes delivering practical, risk-informed recommendations that address root causes and drive process improvement.
  • The role also involves using the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system to manage assurance activities, reporting and follow-up activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct risk-based assurance activities to identify areas of improvement.
  • Deliver actionable recommendations to drive process improvement and enhance the overall control environment.
  • Utilize the GRC system to manage assurance activities and ensure timely reporting and follow-up.
About You:
  • A relevant professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CIA or equivalent is required, along with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience in audit or assurance.
  • Demonstrated experience in a complex regulatory or operational environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong risk analysis capabilities and control assessment techniques are essential for success in this role.
