Job Opportunity: Kitchen Team Member

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our kitchen team as a key member.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment and a strong understanding of food safety requirements.

You will work closely with our chefs and kitchen managers to ensure that all food and storage areas are sanitized, clean and tidy at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sanitize and clean all food and storage areas
  • Operate the dishwashing machine
  • Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy according to current health and hygiene regulations
  • Safely handle chemicals and equipment as per manufacturer's instructions
  • Contribute to sustainable approach through energy conservation and careful use of water, cleaning materials and other appliances

Requirements for this role include:

  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Positive and friendly attitude
  • Availability to work nights and weekends, including public holidays
  • Permanent Australian residency or Working Holiday Visa
  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment preferred
  • Understanding of food safety requirements
