Job Title: Data Migration Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead complex data migration initiatives within the banking sector.

This role is part of a high-impact transformation program, requiring technical expertise and strategic insight.

You will be responsible for driving solution design and delivery, guiding clients on best practices, migration roadmaps, and risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data migration planning and execution across large-scale banking platforms
  • Engage with senior business and technical stakeholders to define migration scope, approach, and success criteria
  • Analyse existing data landscapes and develop fit-for-purpose migration strategies aligned to business risk appetite and timelines
  • Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and PMs to ensure seamless migration delivery
  • Serve as trusted advisor to clients guiding them through critical decision points on tooling, sequencing, validation, and cutover
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and remediation strategies across the migration lifecycle
  • Prepare and present clear, concise migration plans and status updates to executive audiences
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory, privacy, and data governance frameworks

About You:

  • Proven track record delivering end-to-end data migrations in banking or financial services
  • Deep familiarity with data structures, ETL tools, cleansing/validation, and cutover strategies
  • Strong capability in stakeholder management across business, operations, and IT
  • Experience working in consulting-style environments or internal transformation teams
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and executive-level communication skills
