Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Advocacy Communication Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for coordinating engagement with centres and external partners, managing schedules, and crafting compelling internal and external communications and campaigns.
  • You will also maintain critical databases, support impactful campaigns that amplify our voice in the sector, and drive collaboration across teams.
  • In addition, you will manage advocacy resources, coordinate media and politician visits, and create impactful materials.
  • Other responsibilities include assisting with budget management, travel coordination, and stakeholder engagement plans.
  • You will also organize centre visits, manage supplier relationships, and deliver advocacy campaigns and events.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • To be successful in this role, you will need more than 2 years' previous experience within a communications or campaign team and/or an early learning environment.
  • You should have strong organisational and administration skills, excellent people and relationship-building skills, and good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A proven ability to turn complex topics into simple copy is essential, as well as the ability to work as part of a team whilst demonstrating autonomy and responsibility for specific tasks.
