Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee our sector specific capability building projects, identify and pursue opportunities for strategic partnership and contribute to the development and implementation of internal policies and practices relating to project management.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of capacity building projects including projects in the Youth, Aging and Aged care, Mental Health, Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations sectors, including staff and resource management.
  • Implement strategies to improve processes, support good practice and outcomes for our capacity-building projects
  • Oversee multiple projects, supporting staff to deliver projects on time, within quality standards.
  • Pursue partnership opportunities aligned with our strategic goals
  • Supervise and coordinate staff, ensuring allocation of responsibilities, performance review and development needs.
  • Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree or higher with substantial extension of theories and principles, learned through experience; or a range of management experience; or postgraduate qualifications, or progress towards postgraduate qualifications with extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and a team of staff.
  • A detailed working knowledge of research related to LGBTIQ+ health and wellbeing, and its implications for service delivery, policy and interventions.
  • Effective management and leadership skills with experience in managing and leading staff to promote a cohesive team and managing workflows.
  • Capacity to organise work effectively and efficiently and deliver outputs in a timely manner.
