We are now looking for a Project Manager Lead,to become a key member of our team, based in Thomastown, Melbourne.

This role is responsible for the successful delivery of strategic projects and programs that drive transformation across the Tyremax organisation.

Reporting to the CFO, this role oversees project governance, portfolio management, performance reporting and delivery support. You will partner with senior stakeholders to ensure initiatives are prioritised, managed effectively and also deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

Governance and Oversight

• Establish and enforce project management standards, methodologies and frameworks.
• Provide assurance that projects are being managed effectively, risks are controlled and benefits are realised.

• Oversee the integrated project portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Coordinate project prioritisation processes and provide visibility of project status, risks and resource utilisation.

• Guide sponsors, project managers and teams through planning, execution and issue resolution.
• Build capability through mentoring, training and coaching.
• Ensure flexibility and responsiveness to maintain project momentum.

• Deliver clear and accurate reporting on project status, risks, financials and benefits.
• Support informed executive decision-making.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, executives and business leads.
• Serve as a key escalation point for resolving issues and removing roadblocks

• Work closely with the Safety Manager to ensure alignment and compliance to safety legislation.

• Proven success (5+ years) leading a PMO or large program management function in a complex environment.
• Demonstrated success delivering ERP or digital transformation projects on time and on budget.
• Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, integration, or transformation programs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Ability to step in with hands-on execution and analytical support.

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of project/portfolio methodologies and tools (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile, MS Project).

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
• Experience within logistics, supply chain, or wholesale distribution industries.
