Purchasing Procurement Specialist

Seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to undertake key responsibilities in a procurement team.
About the PositionBased at Military Vehicle Excellence in Redbank, this role will involve working closely with internal stakeholders and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and issue purchase orders ensuring timely delivery of materials, equipment and services;
- Coordinate with procurement teams to meet needs and manage inventory levels;
- Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions including purchase orders and contracts;
- Stay up-to-date on relevant procurement policies, regulations and industry standards;
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and contract management;
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in all tasks;
- Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders;
- High level of integrity and professionalism and ability to work under pressure;
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
