Financial Professional Wanted

We are seeking a skilled financial professional to join our team in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements, including individual, company, partnership, and trust tax returns.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with business owners across various industries.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, enhancing their professional development and skills.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
  • Handle tax-related matters, including Division 7A, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and trust distributions.
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of experience working in a public practice firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software Xero.
  • Desirable proficiency in FYI docs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage workflow independently.
