Cyber Security Analyst - Risk Specialist

Develop a comprehensive cybersecurity framework to safeguard business partnerships and drive resilience across critical operations.

  • Implement robust third-party risk management strategies to mitigate potential cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed cybersecurity best practices into agreements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

This role involves working closely with stakeholders to identify, assess, and manage cyber risks associated with third-party vendors and suppliers. As a Cyber Security Analyst – Risk Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and delivering our third-party cyber risk practice, ensuring the protection of sensitive information and maintaining the trust of our customers.

About This Role

As a member of our Security, Governance & Compliance team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-priority projects that drive strategic growth and protect our organization from emerging cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing in-depth third-party risk assessments and onboarding reviews to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Developing and maintaining risk ratings and records in our system of record to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Advising on cyber risk remediation and embedding controls in agreements to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting incident response and control improvements to minimize the impact of security breaches.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Industry certification (CRISC, TPCRA) or working towards one.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (AESCSF, CIS, OWASP, ISO27000, APP).
  • Experience in cyber risk management or advisory roles.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
