About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to oversee the daily operation of our retail stores at Melbourne Airport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a small team and ensuring the smooth operation of our stores, including maintaining stock levels, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety and OHS regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of employees, assigning tasks and providing ongoing coaching and training
  • Receive, distribute, and transfer physical inventory, maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Oversee HACCP and OHS compliance, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment
  • Manage reporting and inventory, providing regular updates to management
  • Communicate with suppliers, quality control, and shipping issues with the General Manager and Operations Manager
Requirements
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Proficient in numeracy and literacy skills
  • Walkie Stacker Certificate is favorable
  • Certificate in Asset Management or Warehouse Operations highly regarded
