The Opportunity:

As our External Security Vetting Analyst Team Leader, you'll be responsible for leading a high-performing team handling complex personal security clearance processes across various security levels. This role offers flexibility and reduced hours options, and is based in several locations across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clearance cases and leverage experience in vetting with attention to detail and the ability to manage a complex process.
  • Be accountable for Quality Assurance, enforcing stringent quality controls on Personal Security Files (PSFs), and provide sound, data-driven advice on clearance outcomes.
  • Process security clearances meticulously, adhering to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver efficient caseload management and execution.

What We Look For:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Extensive experience in Government or similar high-security environments.
  • A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required.
  • Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
