We are inviting expressions of interest from qualified and experienced educators to assist in delivering our Vocational Information and Communications Technology (ICT) courses in the upcoming academic year. CQUniversity provides VET units in blocks of 9 or 20 weeks, and casual staff are engaged based on student enrolment numbers for each block.
Please be aware that this is a casual pool position. Your expression of interest will remain active for a period of 12 months, and you will be contacted only if suitable casual work becomes available during this time.
Position Requirements
Teacher
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a Diploma or higher qualification in adult education, or equivalent.
- Relevant vocational qualifications at or above the level to be taught: industry certification (certificate, diploma, degree, or higher).
- Extensive industry experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Network planning, installation, and configuration
- Network security
- Virtual computing
- Cyber Security
- Project Management
- Business needs analysis
- Technical support for PC hardware and software.
Tutor
- Qualifications and/or experience that meet the recognized occupational competency standards relevant to their field and level of instruction.
- Significant industry experience in technical support for PC hardware and software.
- TAE Delivery and/or Assessment skill set (Desirable).
