About the Role

The Social Content Producer is a key member of the Bunnings Retail & Trade team, responsible for creating engaging and high-quality social content that brings the Bunnings brand to life. This role will work closely with the Creative & Production Manager and the Creative & Production team to develop and implement social content strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce, shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality social content that meets the brief, budget, and timelines.
  • Develop and implement social content strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Work with production partners and internal creators to create social-first content where required.
  • Provide expert guidance for the production of paid social assets as needed.
  • Represent the Bunnings brand and the Content and Social team at creative shoots.
  • Manage the recruitment and engagement of internal creator programs, utilizing internal team members to create content for social channels.
  • Develop and evolve existing internal programs to support the internal creation of content for commercial channels.
  • Review, revise, and select relevant content to be published from participants.
  • Establish and nurture a reputation for being adaptive, professional, open, collaborative, and hardworking as an individual and as a dynamic content production team.
  • Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders around social content and best practice use of production techniques.
  • Work collaboratively and respectfully with agency partners, trades, and fellow team members when on set and in-store.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to champion the role of social content and keep stakeholders informed.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Multimedia, Content Production, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a social content producer working across social platforms.
  • Experience with social content creation, editing, and publishing platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of social media channels trends, strategies, and tactics.
  • Understanding of emerging technology and usage in content production.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to deliver to strict deadlines, under pressure.
  • Being capable of managing multiple projects and/or briefs at any one time.
  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills.
